Overview

This role is ideal for a recruiter who owns outcomes, operates with structure, and contributes to the continued maturation of a growing TA function.

 

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a full‑cycle, individual contributor responsible for managing assigned requisitions from intake through offer acceptance. This role requires sound judgment, strong prioritization, and the ability to make day‑to‑day recruiting decisions independently while operating within established processes, compliance standards, and performance metrics.

 

You will partner closely with hiring managers and guide candidates through a positive, compliant hiring experience while ensuring recruiting activity is accurate, well‑documented, and progressing efficiently. This role is best suited for a proactive recruiter who effectively manages stakeholder relationships and places a high value on data integrity within iCIMS.

 

The Talent Acquisition Specialist works in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple requisitions and initiatives simultaneously. Responsibilities span the full recruitment lifecycle, including talent sourcing, evaluation, interviewing, and offer management, as well as supporting recruitment programs, processes, and employment branding efforts.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Recruitment Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire recruitment process, from talent exploration to interviewing to offers
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with hiring managers, division leaders, and other key stakeholders to deeply understand talent needs, align recruiting efforts with business goals, and provide guidance where needed.
  • Candidate Experience: Foster a positive and memorable candidate journey by providing exceptional communication, support, and guidance throughout the application and interview process.
  • Interviewing and Assessment: Conduct thorough and insightful interviews, evaluating candidates based on their knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Employment Branding: Elevate United Community’s reputation as an employer that values belonging and inclusion.
  • Recruiting Programs: Develop and manage innovative recruiting programs, including internships and other initiatives aimed at attracting emerging talent.
  • Reporting: Ensure high confidence in TA metrics through effective requisition management and governance activities.

Requirements For Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent education/experience in a related field
  • 2 or more years of experience in Talent Acquisition/Recruiting or in a similar role
  • Experience working with an ATS is required.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high volume and metric driven environment
  • Ability to utilize all types of social media platforms to source for top candidates
  • Ability to energize, communicate, and build rapport at all levels within the organization
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with a focus on cultural sensitivity.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Self-directed, thorough, and exceptionally organized mindset
  • Intermediate proficiency in Canva, Microsoft Office suite products and, Excel
  • Analytical and research skills
  • Previous experience recruiting in financial services industry preferred
  • Presentation and public speaking experience preferred

Conditions of Employment

  • This is a full-time position with flexibility for evenings and weekends as needed

Pay Range

USD $49,972.00 - USD $76,958.00 /Yr.
