Overview

We’re seeking a Portfolio Specialist II to provide expert credit and sales support to the Commercial Special Assets Officers. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a deep understanding of loan portfolio management.

What You’ll Do

  • Credit & Sales Support

    • Partner with Relationship Managers to manage loan portfolios, including annual reviews, covenant compliance, borrowing base monitoring, and collateral exceptions.
    • Participate in joint client calls, underwriting, and preparing credit approval packages.
    • Coordinate with Credit Analysts to develop financial spreads, LARs, credit memos, and related documentation.
    • Serve as a secondary contact for client relationships and identify cross-sell opportunities.
    • Assist lenders with prospecting and prepare commitment letters and loan documents.
  • Financial Analysis

    • Analyze complex business and personal financial statements and tax returns.
    • Evaluate client relationships holistically to identify risks and opportunities.
    • Prepare and present credit analysis packages with limited supervision.
    • Recommend strategies to mitigate credit risks.

Requirements For Success

  • 3–5 years of experience in commercial lending, including underwriting and financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial loan structures and credit policy.
  • Familiarity with banking regulations and loan documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with financial reporting tools (e.g., Navigator).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Conditions of Employment
