Overview

The Loan Operations Process and Systems Analyst has operational responsibility during the diligence, selection, design, implementation and support of the department’s technology tools.  Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for the department’s continuous improvement efforts by identifying, prioritizing and implementing small to medium efforts to improve the operating environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Participate in efforts to define needs, select solutions and implement technology or process initiatives that will enhance and improve Loan Operations’ efficiency, effectiveness and scalability.
  • Lead operational efforts to test, and/or resolve issues related to systems and software. 
  • Serve as an internal consultant to leaders and teams at varying levels throughout the organization.
  • Contribute to escalated problem resolution by giving in-person, hands-on support to end users when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to lead departmental efforts to identify small and mid-sized process or system improvements.  Identify, prioritize and deliver continuous improvement efforts and ensure work aligns with strategic direction.
  • Coordinate with Change Manager on training needs and/or Policy and Procedure Specialist on required process documentation changes or updates.
  • Participate in all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars/conferences, etc.

Requirements For Success

  • Minimum five years of experience in Loan Operations or Loan Processing Environment
  • Continuous improvement or process/system integration experience highly preferred.
  • Experience analyzing and documenting existing business processes by creating visual representations to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas of improvement preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to collect, study and interpret information.
  • Detailed knowledge of Commercial, Retail and Small Business loan processes, systems and documentation.  Also requires knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, as well as excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and displays advanced analytical and administrative abilities, critical thinking, communication and follow through.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage through unique and/or unforeseen issues effectively.

Pay Range

USD $42,061.00 - USD $64,465.00 /Yr.
